TAKK: The case is made of durable stainless steel with K1 mineral glass &#x2013; ideal for older children who are more active.Both models come with a polyamide (nylon) strap &#x2013; skin-friendly, hard-wearing, and machine-washable at 40&#x202F;&#xB0;C. The straps are interchangeable, which extends the product&apos;s lifespan and conserves resources.Production &amp; Responsibility Currently, both TIKK and TAKK are manufactured in the People&#x2019;s Republic of China. We explored the possibility of producing them in Europe, but found that maintaining consistent quality at a fair price is currently not feasible there.We work with long-term production partners who manufacture according to international standards and emphasize fair working conditions.Packaging Our packaging is plastic-free and reduced to the essentials. Each watch comes in a recyclable cardboard box &#x2013; including a printed learning booklet made from paper.We believe that sustainability is a process that begins with transparency. However, the offers we received from Europe would have raised the retail price of the watches to a level that would not be affordable for many families, without providing any advantages in quality.KWIO stands for durable, functional, and child-friendly products. In China, we found a production partner who:<ul data-start="604" data-end="755"><li data-start="604" data-end="646">meets our strict quality requirements,</li><li data-start="647" data-end="701">manufactures according to international standards,</li><li data-start="702" data-end="755">and operates under socially responsible conditions.</li></ul>Our Commitment Even though production currently takes place in China, we remain committed to our long-term goal: making KWIO products even more sustainable.
