At KWIO, transparency is especially important to us – which is why we answer this question openly and honestly.

Current status
KWIO TIKK and TAKK are currently manufactured in the People’s Republic of China. We have chosen our production partners with great care and place a strong emphasis on fair, safe, and socially responsible working conditions.

What does that mean in practice?

• Our partners operate according to internationally recognized social standards

• Clear guidelines regarding working hours, safety, and compensation are in place

• Child labor and exploitative practices are strictly excluded

• We maintain regular communication with our production partners to ensure quality and accountability

Why not Europe?
We thoroughly investigated whether manufacturing within the European Union would be feasible. Unfortunately, this would have significantly increased the retail price of the watches – to a level that would no longer allow us to offer high-quality products at a price accessible to most families.

We believe fair production and social responsibility should not contradict affordability – and we are continuously working to make our supply chain even more transparent and sustainable.
