The KWIO TIKK and TAKK are currently produced in the People’s Republic of China.

Why China?
We thoroughly explored the possibility of manufacturing within the European Union – especially to benefit from shorter supply chains and greater transparency. However, the offers we received from Europe would have raised the retail price of the watches to a level that would not be affordable for many families, without providing any advantages in quality.

KWIO stands for durable, functional, and child-friendly products. In China, we found a production partner who:

• meets our strict quality requirements,

• manufactures according to international standards,

• and operates under socially responsible conditions.

Our Commitment
Even though production currently takes place in China, we remain committed to our long-term goal: making KWIO products even more sustainable. This includes continuously seeking European alternatives, as soon as they become economically and qualitatively viable.
